it snowed...and snowed, with no signs of stopping...
as if hell itself had frozen over, it couldn't have been much colder...
but then it stopped, 38 Hours later, it stopped...and as the sun rose...it was the most serene and beautiful moment...i might not see much beauty again, but i can only hope that i did it justice with my eye...
only edited for a few dust spots on the negative...

You know, I love your black and white shots b/c of the simplicity of them, the sheer beauty of the shadows and lights and how they play off of the forms and angles that you shoot. But this colour one........whoa! I'm way diggin this, and I remember the digital one you posted. I must agree, this one does look much nicer. When you chose to use colour, DAMN you use it! Hats off, it's wonderful!

I followed the link from one word photo, because this was too perfect not to favorite. Wonderful shot. I don't believe I have ever seen the sun rise on snow like that. Beautiful!
thank you so much...this is one of my most favorite photgraphs...i shot the same thign digitally, but it wasn't quite as nice...the film really captured the color so beautifully!
